The Smiths fue una banda de Indie Rock formada en Inglaterra en 1982. La banda disfrutó de un éxito considerable hasta su separación en 1987. Dos de las cosas más notables del grupo fueron su polémico cantante con sus no menos polémicas letras y sus composiciones. La música de la banda se nutría de influencias de rock de los 60 y 70. En le año 2005 salio esta recopilación.
